Ronald Rothfield, better known as <a href="spotify:artist:5jBTxtjj3Y3cDgoqWbFJxy" data-name="Raja Ram">Raja Ram</a>, is a legendary Australian DJ, musician and producer who has lived in England since he was 23 years old. Raja has been present in the music scene since the era of contemporary jazz, migrating to psychedelic rock in the 70s with his group <a href="spotify:artist:3BYs6uiKpWPFZEpffmXOp6" data-name="Quintessence">Quintessence</a>, and, two decades later, he discovered electronic music, more specifically psychedelic trance, when in the mid-90s he formed his new band, <a href="spotify:artist:3MSq3HlSCnY9LNSlkDaEMx" data-name="The Infinity Project">The Infinity Project</a>. Around this time, Raja created his own record label, TIP Records, which was the first to record and commercialize Goa trance in the United Kingdom, becoming one of the leading psytrance labels in the world.

<a href="spotify:artist:5jBTxtjj3Y3cDgoqWbFJxy" data-name="Raja Ram">Raja Ram</a> is also well-known for his renowned and acclaimed work in several other psychedelic music projects, such as <a href="spotify:artist:0m5XJwKGYyUjd3VMfcINCQ" data-name="Shpongle">Shpongle</a>, formed with <a href="spotify:artist:6RmijobcphddxSNtsBHjF0" data-name="Simon Posford">Simon Posford</a>; The Mystery of the Yeti, which in addition to Ram and Posford, brings together musicians from <a href="spotify:artist:6KrZfPWnNQoZci1kA4QbWE" data-name="Total Eclipse">Total Eclipse</a> and Doof; and the world-famous psytrance project <a href="spotify:artist:2opB8qXyAmLYSGEZxp7X3U" data-name="1200 Micrograms">1200 Micrograms</a>, with <a href="spotify:artist:1jLsr1sNO2WshuzmSibSIt" data-name="GMS">GMS</a>.
