Rakib Erick is a multi-genre artist based in Perth, Western Australia. He was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh & moved to Australia in his teen years. At a young age he began experimenting with different composition and sounds. This led him to build upon his rock and metal roots into areas of Indie rock & Synthwave. The results of these explorations have certainly been catapulting. He aims to continue to create music that is fresh, unique and speaks to the complex truths of life.

Rakib's debut studio album "Metafiction" was released on 11th July 2023.
 
In addition to this, Rakib is also is an award-winning filmmaker and directs his own high calibre music videos and films.
