“One of the most hard-working guys in the scene !!”
Armin van Buuren
Beginning his solo career in 2009, RAM quickly made his mark on the global trance scene. From his early hard-trance days as one half of the Dutch duo Bas & RAM
RAM has performed at some of the most prestigious events in the world, including Mysteryland, A State of Trance, Dreamstate, Qlimax, Electronic Family, Nature One, Transmission, Trance Energy, Sensation, Dance Valley, Untold, Luminosity, Beyond Wonderland, EDC, Defqon.1, and many more. Known for his energetic, uplifting sets and direct interaction with the crowd, he has earned a reputation as a true fan favorite.
In 2009, RAM hit the jackpot with the breakout track “RAMsterdam.” Supported by all the major trance DJs, it was voted “Tune of the Year” on A State of Trance and named Best Track of the Year by Armin van Buuren. A few years later, in October 2013, another milestone followed with the release of “RAMelia,” a deeply personal tribute to his late wife Amelia. A collaboration with Susana, the track became an instant classic, winning multiple international awards, securing eight consecutive plays on ASOT, and receiving a record-breaking 61.9% of the votes for Future Favorite.
Remarkably, RAM remains the only artist outside of Armin van Buuren and Tiësto to have two tracks in the Top 10 of the ASOT Top 1000 list (RAMsterdam and RAMelia). In fact, RAMsterdam was voted the #1 Trance Track of All Time in the All Time Trance Top 1000.
