Randy Coleman is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter whose music blends rock, folk, and soul into emotionally raw, melodic storytelling. Influenced by Queen, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, and Hank Williams, his sound is timeless and deeply personal.
Randy first gained attention as frontman of Zoo Story, signed to Universal’s 333 Records. Their song “Star” was featured in the film Dragonfly starring Kevin Costner. His solo debut, Last Salutation, followed in 2006, with the title track appearing on Scrubs.
His later work, including the EP Ragged Heart, explores heartbreak, healing, and growth. His songs have been featured in Deadliest Catch, Firefly Lane, Fringe, and more.
Randy also starred in the indie film This Day Forward (2017) and holds an MFA from CalArts. His acoustic take on Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” has earned millions of views, showcasing his raw vocal power and emotional range.
