Surrounded by music since childhood, Ranjah (born Mudit Arora) grew up with a fundamental love for rhythm and melody. His parents - who are both doctors and singers - bolstered this fondness throughout his life. Born in Punjab and moving to the Northeast U.S. at an early age, his influences expanded from classical Punjabi folk music, to include Garage, Hip-Hop, Trap, Hindi, Reggaeton, Afrobeats and R&B. The singer, songwriter and performer uses this range to combine South Asian, Latin, and Western musical cultures - curating a unique blend of sounds to represent the evolution of the Indian diaspora. At the same time, this Doctor turned Artist runs a successful medical practice in central New Jersey and hopes to inspire others who have multiple passions like himself. His debut single "Nakhre" featuring UK artist Raxstar showcases Ranjah's skill with Punjabi rap verses and vocal singing ability on a Reggaeton inspired beat. "Nakhre" has quickly started to climb the charts - appearing on the Top 20 list on Simply Bhangra, numerous publications in the UK/USA, and earning him the accolades "Artist of the month" with BBC Radio Asia and B4U music. With multiple solo singles and additional major artist collaborations planned for release in 2022 and 2023, Ranjah is just getting started.
