Launched in 2021, RaraOvis is the studio project of Italo-Australian writer and composer Leonardo Pegoraro, debuting with the album "ne sveleremo l'essenza" in 2025 created with Matteo Ricci and art directed by Italian prog legend Fabio Zuffanti. Blending symphonic, rock, minimalist, and experimental sounds, the concept album turns love into a five-stage philosophical journey. Twelve musicians contribute, including vocalists Fabio Cinti and Irene Manca, pianist Luca Scherani, and drummer Andrea Orlando. Pegoraro composed the music and arrangements and wrote the lyrics for the entire work, while Ricci contributed guitars, mixing, sound design, and enhancements to the arrangements. The result is a refined, romantic progressive rock album that honors and renews the Italian prog tradition.
