Rasyiqa

Born and raised in South Jakarta, Rasyiqa is a daydreamer armed with a TV remote, big feelings, and her older brothers’ music blasting through her bedroom walls. As a kid, she always wondered what it would be like to live a double life like Hannah Montana—an ordinary girl by day, a rockstar by night.

After college, she figured maybe that dream was just a phase, and staying behind the scenes felt like the more "realistic" path. But a heartbreak in her mid-20s changed everything. Writing became her outlet, and what started as a spontaneous gift to herself on her 25th birthday turned into her debut single, "Reckless., which ended up unlocking something bigger.

What followed was a growing collection of pop-rock influenced songs that feel like her personal diary entries with a hook—blending things that she grew up with; the raw honesty of Michelle Branch, the emo edge of Fall Out Boy, and the sing-along melodies of Vertical Horizon. With the help of close collaborators, she’s built a sound that feels familiar but speaks entirely in her own voice.

Music became her way of making sense of it all: heartbreaks, growing pains, and the quiet in-betweens. She writes for the late bloomers, the overthinkers, and anyone who just needs a song that gets it.
