A little background story from the origins of our name «raumer».
A thousand years ago, Romerike was a separate small kingdom called Raumariki. The Raumer were one of Scandinavia's 28 tribes. In 1022, Olav Haraldsson and the Raumer met for a battle known as the Battle of Nitja. He wanted to Christianize the Raumers, but he also wanted to give them a lesson, because he thought the "peasants» was too poor and did not treat the King with respect.
the farmers had a large force, and there was a battle at Hellerudsletta by Nitelva. The Raumers shied away from the king's war-accustomed men, and they were "beaten to recovery" (forced back to christian law and ways)
The peasant army wanted to stand against Olav and his men, but lost. This is how Raumariki became part of a nationwide church organization and a governance system under a common king.
