Rave@night

Hailing from Kingston Jamaica Rave@night started his obsession of music in 2008 during the Gully vs Gaza era of dancehall music he decided to start freestyling among friends and classmates at excelsior high school in Jamaica. 2009 he migrated to the US and resided in Mount Vernon New York and started American High school. His lyrical gift was not left in his homeland as it followed him to America where he now had resources to create his own songs using existing dancehall beats. In 2010 he was gifted a microphone and audio interface for Christmas and his production journey began. Knowing that the beats were not his, he knew he couldn’t release his music without backlash from world known producers in the industry if the songs became popular, he began creating his own beats using the popular DAW FL Studio. On visits to Jamaica he collaborated with his cousins and gained knowledge pertaining to the creation of riddims/beats and confidence in-front of a microphone. He first performed on stage for a talent show at Mount Vernon High School where he used his own beat and lyrics publicly for the first time, he loved the energy and that made him want to create more music for potential fans to hear. In 2016 he joined the military but that did not keep him from his 1 true love ~Music. Checking into his first command he was asked what his 3 main goals in the next 5 years are and he replied, “ranking up, buying a house and building a studio” all 3 goals have been achieved.
