Fascinated with sound art since his early childhood, Ray Pherz is a composer always looking for new forms of sound expression and a personal language. Musician with a classical education, today he immerses himself in cutting-edge music technology, ancient tradition and the newest music creation techniques. He studied piano and music composition in Spain and Germany and from a very young age he began to include his music in his piano recitals. Soon he began to work on projects for film, television, commercials and theater, and decided to dedicate himself entirely to composition. He has been composer for several film, TV and media production companies as “European Dream Factory” and “Piucho Film”, for example, for those who recently wrote the original soundtrack of “Amanece en Calcuta”, a film of the writer and director José María Zavala. He works for music labels, companies or music festivals such as "<a href="spotify:artist:13FTHoOzbdwyu2iuVxdO6Y" data-name="Epic Music World">Epic Music World</a>" (Germany), "Triple Scoop Music" (USA), "Inmediate Music" and composer Yoav Goren (USA), University of Louisiana Monroe (USA) or the "Tenerife International Film Music Festival FIMUCITE" (Spain), where he was the assistant director of the third edition, working next to composers Diego Navarro (El Fotografo de Mauthausen), Mark Snow (X Files), Jonathan Sacks (Orchestrator in X Files), Don Davis (Matrix), Joel McNeely (Avengers) and John Ottman (Superman Returns).
