Since 2002, Raymond Strife has been playing and hosting live shows in various venues all over the country.
Starting out, he found himself fronting a nu-metal band (Ray Strife here. My fiancé wrote this bio and she doesn’t understand the my “nu-metal” band was actually a “hardcore” band. Anyway.) . Soon after, he began rapping and touring all over the country for 18 years. He created and hosts
"the Aging Punks Complain" Podcast since 2020 with over 100 episodes. While Strife has fronted a few different bands for 2 decades, rap has always been the forefront of his life and interests.
His rap persona, Raymond Strife, is the exaggerated embodiment of who he is. A cocky kid with a weird childhood. Ray spent his wonder years doing drugs, drinking too much and starting (finishing) fights. The "live fast, die young" mindset enveloped him as a kid and too far into adulthood but as a 40 something year old, Ray’s priorities have shifted into much more like a full time job.
Raymond Strife’s discography spans 20 years, with various music styles and various producers. One thing that has always stayed consistent, is the amount of work he’s put into it and the love he has for it.
