A. Ladson (born December 7, 1983), better known by his stage name Rayne Storm, is an American rapper and producer from Harlem, New York. He initially gained attention in 2006 from his mixtape Storms Coming. He later released the mixtapes The Unkrowned King, Storms Coming TWS Edition and Supreme: The Mixtape. On January 1, 2016, he released his first EP, Supreme, consisting of six songs with features from Tash of Tha Alkaholiks, DecadeZ, L.I.V.E.Wire, iLL Drew and more. The Supreme EP was remastered and re-released on August 22, 2018 with 2 new songs and 2 skits.

While attending high school, Rayne was a television and radio show host for Teen Talk Productions. As a host of the television show, he won a PASS Award for a show about the September 11 attacks. As a radio show host he interviewed World Hop artist Don Yute and 1990’s R&B singer Horace Brown. After graduating, Rayne joined The Hip-Hop Project, which collaborated with Russell Simmons and others, leading to the documentary The Hip Hop Project, executive produced by Bruce Willis and Queen Latifah.

Since the release of Supreme, Rayne has launched his label, Monopolyhouse, released several remixes and made a number of guest appearances. Known for his voice, flow and unique production style, Rayne is influenced by Big L, Jay-Z, The Lox, Mobb Deep, Nas, The Notorious B.I.G. and 2pac. Production wise, he credits Dr. Dre, DJ Premier, Timbaland and Pharrell as inspirations.
