Real Derek is the new project by Doortje Hiddema and Roy van Rosendaal. With a lot of guitar pedals and effects they make rambly nerd-pop. Real Derek has their focus on fun and already opened for The Beths, Moss, Ezra Furman and got selected as one of the 3voor12 talents during the Popronde.
Their first EP ‘Meh’ will drop on december 6th, little over half a year after they started the band. With the singles Gucci Bag, Boys, Bricks and their upcoming release ‘Zoo’, Real Derek is made ‘ for nerds, by nerds’.
