Katelyn Tarver and Will Anderson, lead singer and songwriter of the band Parachute, became fast friends while touring the US together in the summer of 2012. Though both have carved out successful careers over the past decade in their own right, they always wondered what it would be like to team up and release music together.
During a few impromptu trips to Nashville and Los Angeles in early 2020, they started writing songs that would eventually become the first releases of their new pop duo, REAVES. Getting back to their singer-songwriter roots, REAVES’ music touches on themes of heartbreak, love, and surrender. Will and Katelyn are excited to be joining forces and exploring new creative worlds together as a duo.
