Andy Denk, better known as Red Comet, discovered his love for DJing and producing while attending Madison Media Institute. In 2013, he moved to UW-Stout; while attending he played house parties and would DJ at the bar. In 2014, Andy’s first big opportunity came, performing as direct support for Tim Gunter. Red Comet has played in shows for other major artists—Adventure Club, Illenium, Said the Sky, MiTiS, Pegboard Nerds, 3LAU, and most recently at the Global Dance Music Festival in Denver—finally culminating in his own Midwest tour in 2016.
Red Comet’s talent and artistry have made waves within the EDM scene. His originals, edits, and remixes earned him immense recognition from multiple EDM blogs: Tracks For Days, EDM Network, Smash The Club, and Daily Dose Of EDM. In January 2018, Red Comet released his second EP, Adventures, challenging the producer through experimenting with new and unique sounds to compose more complex and mature tracks.
