Born and raised in Chicago, IL Rey and Erik developed a love for music at a very young age. With Erik learning to strum the guitar and Rey practicing his vocals it was inevitable for the two to work on their passions together. Taking inspiration from pop icons like Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, and Julia Michaels and combining that with their catchy melodies, upfront vocals and killer guitar playing they formed RedWaves.
RedWaves brings the harsh reality of growing up into their music. The highs of meeting someone you love, can easily turn into lows.
