Regy Clasen came into her own as a palpable force on the German charts in the early 2000s with her smooth, warm vocals and R&B sensibilities. She first appeared on the German music scene in the early '90s as a member of the fun-loving a cappella ensemble <a href="spotify:artist:3UZUo2eeOCS2ZeBlqKZUdE">Five Live</a>. The group came to a sad end in 1997 when member Conny Stahl died, and Clasen disappeared from the limelight for three years.
