Reilly James is a solo artist based in Lancashire, England.
Starting off as a producer of club tracks and beats in 2018. Reilly James slowly made the transition into an indie-pop solo artist, releasing a number of singles throughout 2020 and 2021. These six singles were made to challenge the stereotypical "indie" sound by infusing elements of pop and electronica. A highlight of the 2 year period includes a support slot with The Snuts in Blackpool as part of the Scottish band’s tour for their number 1 debut album W.L.
Reilly has been supported by BBC Radio Merseyside, BBC Radio Lancashire and Amazing Radio UK & US with a number of his tracks being played on air as well as being interviewed on both BBC stations.
“There’s a real flirtatious feel when listening to Reilly James’ music, a concoction of musical oddities that just sit by side, comfortably. Reilly’s music does a great job of exploring and inventing new dynamic sounds that don’t just work but work well.” - RGM Magazine
Having recruited a band in the summer of 2021 Reilly James now fronts the line up for four-piece Indie-Pop band The Forensics. Inspired by bands such as The Smiths, The Stone Roses and The Verve, the band plan on creating a fresh twist on the sing-a-long indie anthems that they grew up with.
