Rel McCoy. Hip-Hop artist - emcee / poducer from Toronto Canada, now residing in Spain.

Rel is truly at home on the stage. Singing, rapping, playing his MPC2500 sampler and DJing his own cuts makes you wonder what other tricks he has up his sleeve. He has shared the stage with artists like Pharcyde, Slaughter House, Pharoahe Monch, Zion–I, Oddisee, Kev Brown , Jeru the Damaja, Masta Ace , Araab Musik, Shad, Moka Only and more.

Festivals played include – CMW, SXSW, NXNE, Toronto Jazz Fest, Halfiax Jazz Fest, HotDocs, Sled Island, PanAm Games (Toronto 2015), and Uprock (Sydney AUS).

Rel is a two-time Independent Music Award winner for best hip hop album (2013)

Only 20% of Kickstarter campaigns clear the $10,000.00 mark. In early 2016 Rel added himself to that list raising more than $11000.00 in support of his release “Gas Money”

In 2015 his full-length album, "The 13th Floor" was the number one hip hop add for CMJ stations, and stayed at #1 for more than 10 weeks on Canadian Earshot charts in the hip hop category.
