Spending his formative years growing up in the USA (McLean, Virginia), Remi, the British singer-songwriter spent his youth listening to a vast range of music that his parents would play around the house, from afro-beat music to pop, rock n roll to soul, and all stops in-between and the calibre of such influences is certainly reflecting in his songwriting – thoughtful, catchy and distinctive.
Honing his songwriting skills from an early age, Remi began to pen down lyrical ideas and melodies. It was when he joined music college and collaborated with producers that his creativity really started to flourish.
