Formed in 1990, Hungary's Republic -- named so as a tribute to the times -- are a folk-influenced rock and pop band inspired by such Magyar legends as <a href="spotify:artist:0pLaxMKFNCcw0FIpUEjgRT">Hobo Blues Band</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7LyNzazhGasc5A4Pt2d8rU">Locomotiv GT</a>. Members Bódi László (vocals), Patai Tamás (guitar), Tóth Zoltán (guitars), Boros Csaba (bass), and Nagy László (drums) released the album Fényes Utakon in late 2007.
