Reuben de Melo is an Australian singer-songwriter and the winner of The Voice Australia 2024. Originally from Goa, India, and now residing in Western Australia, Reuben creates an uplifting mix of indie folk, roots, country, and pop, all delivered with a soulful voice and genuine authenticity. Reuben’s path to success has been anything but conventional. A former FIFO worker in Western Australia’s mining sector and a devoted father of three, he exchanged his steel-capped boots for a guitar and never looked back. Prior to his television debut, he amassed over 7 million streams on Spotify and sold out headline shows throughout WA.
In December 2024, Reuben represented Australia at the India International Film Festival, performing at the opening ceremony. With a highly anticipated tour featuring country icon LeAnn Rimes on the horizon, an independently produced EP in development, and a national tour planned, Reuben is poised to take his music to a global audience.
