Reup Tha Boss

Karetes Gibson professionally known as "Reup Tha Boss” was born in Macon, Ga on July 2nd, 1986. He started doing music about the age of 15 being inspired by up and coming labels like Cash Money, Rockafella, and No Limit. As he got older the passion grew so much he started his own indie label entitled Dark House 415 Ent. back in 2004 taking on the title of C.E.O but that’s not all that he was able to accomplish.

He soon became the in-house producer, artist and the DJ which made him sort of a “Jack Of All Trades.” He has also had the chance to work with many major producers and artist like Drumma Boy, Zay-Toven, DJ Toomp, KE On da track, The Rock Mob, A1 The Super Group, Boonodck Kingz, Jelly Roll, DJ Burn One, Hardhead Jacob, and Shagg Colie and many more. Back in 2007 Reup and his label released a mixtape with DJ Smallz “Mr. Southern Smoke” that pulled the whole city being the movement and gave them the momentum to take it all the way but that wasn’t enough for him coming from Macon,Ga. He decided that it was time to move to Atlanta,Ga which is currently the music Mecca to showcase his talent in a bigger city.
