Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, to the music of legends like Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Tony Allen, Hugh Maseleka, Chief Osita Osadebe; and following the lead of such vocal trailblazers, the talented young singer would begin singing to crowds— large and small— aged just 14.


Years later Rhythim is selling out and headlining major venues in Virginia which is no mean feat for someone who until only two years ago was recording songs on a PreSonus AudioBox iTwo in a small space in his apartment. This self-taught artist has developed a peculiar style— sublime penmanship meets superb storytelling— with vocals that shines so magically and a live show that needs to be seen to be believed.
Recent accolades include over 400k streams, the smash single "On Me" Featuring YQ which is going to be track 2 off the Rhythim’s “Afrobeats & Jollof” EP is out and still making waves across radio stations in Africa, and two quality extended plays.
