Born in Cyprus, Ria Mara has been based in the UK since 2015, when she started her Batchelor Degree. In 2019 she started an MMUs in Popular Music performance where she emerged on her journey in writing Contemporary R&B music with a Neo-Soul vibe. In her music she isn’t afraid to portrait the sad and confused thoughts we all might be having at different stages of our lives but is always there to remind us and shine through the bright side of things. Her music is a small reminder of the fact that a song doesn’t always need to be complex to convey a powerful message.
