A fine young veteran tenor player, Rich Perry went on the road in 1975 with the <a href="spotify:artist:2aAHdB5HweT3mFcRzm0swc">Glenn Miller</a> ghost band. In 1976, he moved to New York and joined the <a href="spotify:artist:6DbqS0X8cSFOPGsvyze2yh">Thad Jones</a>/<a href="spotify:artist:6tWRPRLzfmckBpyR8g4Nnw">Mel Lewis</a> orchestra.
