Graduated from the University of Havana, holding a psychology degree, singer/songwriter Rita del Prado started singing while participating in local student festivals. Later, having the opportunity to play along with popular artists such as Vicente Feliú, Eduardo Peralta, and Marta Campos. Inspired by children's music, Rita del Prado recorded Maravilla Malabar in 1994, Casi lo Digo and Reunión de Magos in 1997, and joined a compilation called Antología de la Nueva Trova in 1998.
