Through the last few decades, Rita has carried a powerful mantle and anointing to create atmospheres of worship through her music. Rita has recorded numerous albums, such as, Love Covers, Created to Worship, All I Have, I Have to Believe, and in the debut of her tenth project Battles, her song “Defender” was taken to radio by Francesca Batistelli as well as it becoming a congregational favorite. In 2021 she recorded her eleventh full project called, LIGHT. Rita left her native home of Southern California years ago and has slowly made her way to call the South, her home. She relocated to Nashville, TN in 2019, after leaving Dallas, TX where she had been for seven years on staff at Gateway Church. She was a staff writer for three years with Capital CMG and is now a staff writer with Chris Tomlin and Jason Ingrams publishing company, Tim Publishing. She is mother to Justice Springer, whom she adopted nineteen years ago at birth, as a single woman. Justice is what Rita describes as " the best song I ever wrote." She is the author of the book, Finding Eve. In 2023 Rita felt led to begin writing her twelfth project when she felt moved by God to encourage those who needed more hope in the wilderness. Fed By Ravens will be released in 2024 with her first single, I Think He Is, releasing March 15, 2024.
