Ritus

Ritus Music is an ethnic downtempo Anatolian electronic music project created by an artist of the Yasin Kayırtar. It is characterized by its use of traditional instruments and sounds from the region, combined with modern production techniques.
Ritus is a music project inspired by Mesopotamia. It is the product of Yasin Kayırtar's dream of carrying his whole musical life to collective musical togetherness beyond being a "name" or "person". Ritus means "ritual" in Latin. Ritualism means regular, continuous and repetitive behaviors. Rituals have become the mental need for humanity in any condition. This is why most human behavior is similar to one another, either in primitive systems or in modern systems. A ritual is a form of mental existence that carries the oldest habits of the past and transforms it into the period in which it lives. Ritus music wants to cover all the sounds in nature from chaotic sounds to the most technical sounds of today. Ritus is not a bridge between modern and primitive, but it is the endless adventure of sound.
