Roadiarc

A proponent of Pasca-Negara (or Post-Country), the Kuala Lumpur-based Roadiarc formed in November 2021, looking for good excuses to scream / shout / wail / yell in people’s faces. Current members consist of Nathanji Lau (Bass), Titus Liew (Drums), Tuan Izuddin (Guitar) & Radhi Osman (Vocals & Guitar).

The band has been actively gigging in Kuala Lumpur since January 2022, hitting several strides such as becoming Champion for the Volkswagen Fest 2022 “Battle of the Bands”, roared along with local heavyweights at the City Roars Fest 2023, and having their debut single “City of Rome” crowned the Best Song of 2023 by Rondivu, Utusan Malaysia.

At present, Roadiarc remains plunging blindfolded into uncharted territory for Malaysian music, where their current interests lie with pushing “mainstream Malaysian music” to the limit, infusing elements of art rock carefully borrowed from experimental and brave acts such as Björk, black midi, <a href="spotify:artist:3PP6ghmOlDl2jaKaH0avUN" data-name="Black Country, New Road">Black Country, New Road</a>, Everything Everything, Gilla Band, Kraftwerk, Model/Actriz, <a href="spotify:artist:5JeJHWfm2ZxNd09hrIf7Zb" data-name="Magma">Magma</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0k17h0D3J5VfsdmQ1iZtE9" data-name="Pink Floyd">Pink Floyd</a>, Rush, Squid, Swans, Talking Heads, and Tool.
