SUPERNOVA is a Band comprised of students from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan in Bandung: Ethan Danendra, Hamisesa Shanu, Nayara Razna, Razaka Arya, Dimma Syauqi, and Naratama Kuntohadi.
SUPERNOVA draws inspiration from 1990s rock music and derives its name from the song "Champagne Supernova" by Oasis, symbolizing "falling stars." The band was established by six students who share a mutual passion for music and a dedication to producing high-quality works.
Their debut song, titled "Siesta"—which translates to "nap" in Spanish—is a heartfelt tribute to the grandmother of the band's vocalist. The song serves as an expression of love and gratitude for her unwavering support and encouragement.
