Rob Equiza

Rob Equiza is a Filipino musical artist who writes, records, and produces his own music. Since 2006, he has released music in various genres such as rock, alternative, folk, electronic, and film score. His body of work is an eclectic mix of intense, introspective, philosophical, and ambient tracks.

Initially a band singer-frontman for over a decade, Equiza decided to properly learn playing instruments and be more independent; thus going solo in 2018 with help from sessionists and collaborators, constantly releasing singles and a couple of EPs. In 2023, he released his first official album Refugees, touring it in 14 cities all over his home country. The following year, he released an EP and a live album.

In 2025, Equiza & co. played two nights & two venues each in Cebu, Phuket, & Jakarta - slowly achieving their goal to play their songs across Southeast Asia. Aside from his regular players Randall Jarell Marc on bass and Steven Cervo on drums, he is joined today by Val Vicera on lead guitar and Miko on keys. The group released an EP in June while the second album will follow on the last quarter.
