Rob Noyes is an acclaimed composer and guitar player, originally from the Boston area, now residing in Tokyo, Japan. Since 2014 Rob has primarily performed as a solo acoustic guitarist in the tradition of Robbie Basho, John Renbourn, Davey Graham, Michael Chapman, and Wizz Jones. In 2016, Rob released The Feudal Spirit on Boston’s Poon Village label featuring a cover by Raymond Pettibon. He followed that with the Arc Minutes LP on VDSQ. Rob has also released collaborations or split records with Joseph Allred, Alexander, Sam Moss, Ryan Lee Crosby, Greg Kelley, and Ayami Suzuki.
