Robby Blue, (a.k.a. Mikey Stone) is an indie singer-songwriter from the very saturated music scene of Austin, TX. Robby changed the game with his debut single “Lovestorm” in 2018 introducing a merger between lo-fi bedroom pop & 1980’s synth wave. Since then he has built up a catalogue that features dreamy, electric tunes such as “Like You” (2019), “Stop! Wait A Minute!” (2021), and more that has since helped curate his contemporary indie sound.
The young 24 year-old recording artist is only at the beginning of his insatiable music journey. Born in the middle of the desert in West Texas, he always had dreams of moving to a big city, and entering the music industry. In 2018, Robby attended The Recording Conservatory of Austin and received his certification in Audio Engineering and Music Production. This opened up even more doors, leading to meeting and collaborating with artists, well known and local.
Since the release of his debut album “Crush” (2023), Robby had been infiltrating the indie music scene gracing listeners with his heartbroken voice and emotional dance hits. An oxymoron of an artist as some would say, Robby embraces this and continues to break down barriers and push through artistic boundaries.
