<a href="spotify:artist:3WckpueKmmjaXiRmiwsyWP" data-name="Robert Connely Farr">Robert Connely Farr</a>Singer-songwriter <a href="spotify:artist:3WckpueKmmjaXiRmiwsyWP" data-name="Robert Connely Farr">Robert Connely Farr</a> (2019 Maple Blues Awards nominee for Songwriter of the Year) grew up in the small southern town of Bolton, Mississippi, home of <a href="spotify:artist:7aExFIr0IHWO5aFjMrGwKw" data-name="Charley Patton">Charley Patton</a> & The Mississippi Sheiks. Farr currently resides in Vancouver, BC. When he's in Mississippi, he can be found at the Blue Front Cafe in Bentonia with his friend & teacher <a href="spotify:artist:366oWbbebUqu4ovO0F0V5D" data-name="Jimmy "Duck" Holmes">Jimmy "Duck" Holmes</a>, who has been mentoring Farr in the Bentonia Style of the delta blues, a style that Holmes learned directly from Henry Stuckey, who taught Skip James & Jack Owens.
In 2018 he released his self titled debut "Dirty South Blues" Robert Connely Farr & the Rebeltone Boys to immediate critical acclaim, including being named by Seattle's heralded KEXP as "worthy of top of 2019". His follow up studio album 'Country Supper" will be released end of summer 2020.
