roboctopus makes music using old Nintendo Gameboys. Though his music is inherently 8-bit, he takes inspiration from modern music and strives to elevate the humble Gameboy soundchip to something beyond traditional video game music. Armed with little more than a DJ mixer and a handful of Gameboys, he has played chiptune and electronic music festivals around the U.S. and as far as Tokyo and Melbourne, Australia.
