ROBUST

ROBUST is a post metal band from Sofia, Bulgaria. Some could name ROBUST "a newborn" as it formed in 2020. However, the members have a far-flung backdrop in the domestic underground scene since the 90's and have been known among the dwellers of the heavy depths for quite some time. The main engine of this venture is K. Petrushev Bus-T, known by the musician brotherhood as a sound master , producer, and arranger of tons of music for independent artists and as a guitarist and author in Brodnik, UPYR, OH, Ebanizm, Bastardolomey and more. In 2020, after parting ways with Brodnik, Bus-T began experimenting with new riffs and pulsations with Mihail Deliradev - drummer of the indie band Stop The Schizo. Bus-T also reunited with Ivan "Gio" Stoilov, his co-conspirator in Second Delta Krot - ahead of its time industrial avant-garde duo from the dawn of Bulgarian 90's underground scene. The passionate dark riffs and slow rhythms attracted Delyan "Dido" Karaivanov, bassist of the stoner doom mowers Obsidian Sea, who quickly joined. Thus, ROBUST was born - heavy goth post metal with doom body and industrial, moreover progressive flavors and lyrics that address topics from the abstract world of feelings to the mysteries of knowledge.
In 2022, after the release of "Colossal Collisions" EP the drummer Misho Deliradev decided to leave ROBUST and focus on other projects. Behind drums for an year was Roger Kafaliev. Current drummer of the band is Milen "Lombardo" Kozov.
