Rogov is the solo project from multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and singer <a href="spotify:artist:0ofyN5WkkugXvllYparXbP" data-name="Gregory Rogove">Gregory Rogove</a>. In Rogov, Gregory concocts dark yet hopeful songs enshrouded in inventive arrangements, slinky rhythms, hooky melodies, and psyche textures. You might hear traces of the Kinks, the Beatles, Syd Barret, Radiohead, Moondog, and Simon Diaz bubbling under his unique take on music making. He released the debut Rogov EP <a href="spotify:album:1C9S9sqsVwVnRM59JeNTeo" data-name="Hooops">Hooops</a> in 2016 and is currently releasing monthly singles.


His previous projects include <a href="spotify:artist:385RVVrU817JYkEzhmPEl0" data-name="Priestbird">Priestbird</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:5TH8hz4x9gnExQET3V8MhL" data-name="Megapuss">Megapuss</a> (w/ Devendra Banhart), Tarantula AD and <a href="spotify:album:4OYJBGQ12DCu22EJ4WnJAQ" data-name="Piana">Piana</a>. He is a longtime collaborator and drummer with <a href="spotify:artist:1YZEoYFXx4AxVv13OiOPvZ" data-name="Devendra Banhart">Devendra Banhart</a>, recording and touring together since 2007. He has worked with various other artists as well, including: <a href="spotify:artist:0UOrkpzPED604dKzxgfJqg" data-name="Rodrigo Amarante">Rodrigo Amarante</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1KlUwB6uFECMC3zzvFvykx" data-name="Niia">Niia</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1LeVJ5GPeYDOVUjxx1y7Rp" data-name="Unknown Mortal Orchestra">Unknown Mortal Orchestra</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1hcdI2N1023RvSwLzTtdsp" data-name="Natalia Lafourcade">Natalia Lafourcade</a>, CocoRosie, Sons of the Sea (Brandon Boyd), and Zavalaz (members of Mars Volta), among others. He released an album of solo piano compositions called Piana, for which John Medeski ( Medeski Martin &amp; Wood) performed his pieces for the recording. Rogove toured in support of this release, sharing a bill with members of Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, and Medeski Martin &amp; Wood. His production work with Mexican artist Natalia LaFourcade earned him a Grammy in 2013.
