Rojda was born in Siirt-Kurtalan. Later she settled in Istanbul. She joined the Koma Gulên Xerzan group, founded by her brother, and started music professionally. She took part in 4 albums in Koma Gulên Xerzan.
She reached wide audiences with her songs "Meyremxan" she sang and "Helimcan" she sang. Then, for the first time as a female vocalist, she sang a duet to Şakiro's Wey Dil, the strong voice of the Kurdish dengbêj tradition. This duet received great appreciation and praise.
With this style, Rojda reinterpreted the old folk songs and managed to endear them to today's youth.
Leaving the group in 2006, Rojda released her first album and continued her career with solo albums.
