alongside his former group Los Peyotes (Garage Punk from Buenos
Aires) in the solitude of his room and with his best friend, his
computer which uses to create his cumbia backing tracks.
Influenced by 60s and 70s psychedelic rock and peruvian
cumbia, Rolando brings to us an energetic show, with pure
amazonian dance in one man band format, accompanied by his
midi orchestra, reduced on a iphone, his guitar and his voice.
His ¨Cumbia Trash” arrived to several parts in the World, and
countless shows in Argentina and neighbouring countries.
Rolando has performed many times all over Europe and twice in
Japan, taking part in some important festivals such as:
GUACAMAYO FEST(SPAIN), FESTIVAL BEAT (ITALY), FUNTASTIC
DRACULA CARNICAL (SPAIN), BUSKERS FESTIVAL (CH),
TUBINGEN CINE LATINO FILM FESTIVAL (GERMANY), FUJI
ROCK (JAPAN), SURF N TURF OUTDOOR (HOLLAND), SLAP!
(SPAIN), NOG EEN PAAR HETE ZOMERS (Belgium), HUMANICITÉ
(BELGIUM), SURF-O-RAMA FESTIVAL (SPAIN)
He also formed his super group in Buenos Aires, called ¨ROLANDO
BRUNO Y EL GRUPO AREVALO¨ composed by selected musicians
of the Buenos Aires underground scene.
He's first album is ¨BAILAZO¨ (2015 Voodoo Rhythm Records, CH), also have 2 EP "CUMBIA REACTION" (Voodoo Rhythm Records, CH) and a sinlge 7 inch vinyl released by Names You Can Trust (USA)
