Romaana

One of the fastest-rising artists in the Indian music industry, Romaana is a singer, composer, and lyricist from Bhatinda, Punjab. He was discovered by Jaani in 2017 and since then he has been a part of record-shattering songs like Arijit Singh's Pachtaoge featuring Vicky Kaushal and Nora Fatehi, Baarish Ki Jaaye picturised on Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sunanda Sharma, and Akshay Kumar starrer, Filhall by B Praak.

Romaana released his debut single, Goriyaan Goriyaan in April 2021 - written and composed by Jaani, arranged by B Praak, the song describes a brown-skinned boy's unfortunate experiences in the real world and spins a quirky take on how fairer skin always gets an advantage. The video trended on YouTube at #3 in less than 12 hours and the audio received strong editorial support across platforms. Later he released his first EP 'Mehrbaniaan' that delves into the R&B zone where each track sounds fresh compared to anything that has come out of the Punjabi music circuit in recent times. Lyrically, all the songs explore a different theme of love, making it relatable to everyone. His latest single 'Chalo Mannya' is yet another heart-melting rendition of a smitten lover’s feelings. Composed, penned down and performed by him, this song shows his prowess as well as the maturity in how elegantly he tells this love story and describes the muse’s beauty.
