Hello, I am Roman Cheglov. I was born in Russia and now I live in Vienna, Austria.
I have been playing music since I was 15 years old. My parents bought a guitar as a present to my brother but it was me who really fell in love with it.
I always played my own music and very rare I played not my music. I made my first band in school and we played mostly grange music. We were rather popular in my hometown Lipetsk. The band called Provokator. First two year of university we made some concerts but then we split. I continued to make music mostly for myself with some rare performances. Then I started to work, family, children. But I continued to compose music. I always loved guitars. I have a collection of acoustics and electric guitars. One of my guitar you can see on the cover of the North single. In fact this guitar is called North. In 2024 I started to make professional recoding and also took some vocal lessons. Two of the recordings you can find here. I will continue and plan soon release in album.
I never played or made music for money. All songs that I wrote came out spontaneously when I plan guitar. All song are authentic and reflect what I felt the moment I made them. Many of my friends ask how a song comes to you. I can't explain. It just comes out when I take a guitar and play. And I love it.
