Ron King is a GRAMMY-winning jazz trumpet player. He has performed and recorded with L.A. big bands “Bill Holman” and “Clayton Hamilton," and played for countless television, commercial and movie soundtracks including “Ocean’s 11." Ron played on the Oscar-winning movie "Children of a Lesser God," 15 GRAMMY-winning albums, and 11 GRAMMY-nominated projects.
Since 2018, Ron has focused on Smooth Jazz. Working together with Paul Brown, they created Ron's first smooth jazz album 'Downtown Mama,' produced by and featuring Paul Brown. The album received rave reviews and had several top 10 hits. Ron's 2nd smooth jazz album 'Cascade' was also produced by (and features) Paul Brown.
