Ronika

Ronika is a singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist originally from Nottingham, and now based in London. Her debut album, 'Selectadisc', was released via her own label, Record Shop, and named an Album of The Year across the likes of The Guardian, NME and the Quietus. Inspired by everything from early Madonna to Jam & Lewis, Ronika has additionally collaborated on projects with the likes of Lindstrom (on recent track 'If I Didn't Know Better', which was A-Listed on Rinse), L-Vis 1990 (Night Slugs) , Groove Armada, Herve and Mighty Mouse. She has also trained as a sound engineer and been named an alumni of the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy. Ronika's second solo album, 'Lose My Cool', was released in 2017 to similarly widespread acclaim ("genre-bending brilliance...manages to be both vintage and forward-thinking at the same time", Mixmag). Currently at work on new material for herself and others as well as raising two hell-raising small children, Ronika's career thus far - says Uncut magazine - simply "reads like a DIY punk masterclass."
