ROOM8, the duo of Ezra Reich and Nic Johns, launched in 2014 with the single EP "Visions of You" a pop EP that featured the vocals of Drive Soundtrack standouts, Electric Youth and was released on the New York dance imprint, Win Records. It recieved massive blog support at the time and led to gigs with Neon Gold, performance spots on famed alt radio show 'New Sounds with John Shaefer' . ROOM8 released another Hype Machine number 1 and New Music Friday Feature in multiple countries, "Just You & I" which went on the spotify viral charts in Sweden. Then came "Midnight" with Warner Bros artist, Morgxn. In 2019 ROOM8 released their first full length, the long awaited, Transduction which was physically distributed all over Sweden and was represented by Jubel Music and Mystic Sons. It was covered by a host of online music magazines. ROOM8's first motion picture soundtrack was released on Lakeshore Records to the dark drama, Cuck. The score received high praise from the Hollywood Reporter and many others. ROOM8 scored several more shorts and worked on a feature with Louise Linton. They also scored a documentary on the nasdaq and 4 feature films in 2022. In 2021, ROOM8 released the double album "Spaces in Solitude Vol. 1 and 2" which was their first foray into Ambient and New Age music. Their latest release, Western Front, is a western saga inspired by the wide open spaces and history of the American West.
