Included on BBC Introducing’s ‘Ones To Watch 2025’ list Rooskin are a band from Southend, Essex who combine their array of influences to create a weave of psychedelic, surf-enthused indie pop anthems!
With influences like Real Estate, Mac Demarco, War on Drugs, Bombay Bicycle Club and Tame Impala you can hear the saccharine Indie-Pop heart beating beneath the hazy-wavey tones.
Since releasing their collaborative EP with friends Beach for Tiger, Rooskin have started rolling out singles from their forthcoming album.
The first song out the gate is titled ‘Long For Nothing’ which was inspired by the validation the guys received after release the Dopatine EP. The second is ‘It’s OK to Two Step’ which approaches the sound from a bedroom pop angle - a fairly untouched direction for the band.
