Not to be confused with the female children's singer of the same name, Rory are actually an energetic emo-rock quintet hailing from Altamonte Springs, FL. Coming together around 1998, the guys released the five-song EP Always Right as in We Are during the summer of 2004 through One Eleven Records. The band -- vocalist Jeremy Menard, drummer Joel Setzer, bassist Marc Ispass, and guitarists Jordan Shroyer, and Chris Moore -- toured around the country before eventually heading back into the studio in early 2006 with producers Mark Hoppus and John Avila, former bassists of blink-182 and Oingo Boingo, respectively. Rory's resulting debut full-length, We're Up to No Good, We're Up to No Good, arrived later that year. Moore exited the band in the spring of 2007 and was soon replaced by Allen Peoples. ~ Corey Apar, Rovi
