London based singer-songwriter Rose D’Aulbey wrote her first song at 16, taking inspiration from the music influences she grew up on. But over the years D’Aulbey has proven herself as so much more than a hobbyist player, she has created an explorative sound that touches upon many beloved musical genres, whilst also providing deeply personal and reflective lyrics.
At now 30, her debut EP ‘Pieces’ (produced by the talented Oscar Cainer) is described by D’Aulbey as an ode and farewell to her 20s, and at every twist and turn you will be surprised by the elements of folk, jazz and soul that she intertwines into her work. Her honest and deeply relatable lyrics, alongside the pure, sweeping tones of her voice make for an intimate listen.
