Roselyn was formed in Aarhus by old time friends from bands such as Barricades and 100 Knives Inside. The idea was to create an insane live show with lots of crazy stunts like you would expect from the Dillinger Escape Plan. Take that energy and throw in an unhealthy mix of fire and sweaty moshing, and you know what Roselyn looks like.
The sound is inspired by American southern Metal and Hardcore bands such as Every Time I Die, Norma Jean, and Zao. The two first EPs feature chaotic riffs with multiple tempo shifts and on the debut record we find more melodic parts between the groovy chaos.
