Rising Cork Indie Rockers Rowan are bursting out the traps with their visceral debut album “Does It Make You Happy?”. The album, released via LA label Beverly Martel, has gained critical acclaim from BBC Radio 6’s Steve Lemacq, Lauren Laverne, Radio X’s John Kennedy, Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon and many others. In it’s first week, the band charted the album at #2 in Ireland, ahead of Fontaines DC and Arctic Monkeys.

Born out of the early pandemic, when the three accomplished musicians were forced into a hiatus from session work, Rowan are fast becoming one of the most exciting new Irish acts around.

Rowan signed to Beverly Martel with their 2021 EP ‘Everybody Talks’ their first imprint with the LA label. Instant earworms such as ‘Nothing’s Gonna Change’ & ‘One Of These Days’ put the band on the map in Ireland, the UK and the US.

"Nothing's Gonna Change is one of my favourite Irish songs that I've heard all year. Remember the name Rowan, because you're gonna be hearing it loads!"
